About me

I don’t have a formal culinary training. I am a self-taught cook. I learned from trial and error, reading, researching and watching cooking shows. My passion for cooking was influenced by my mother who is a great cook. Picky eaters were not tolerated in my mother’s kitchen. Fish roe, slimy leaves, pig’s liver, lungs and brains were not bizarre to me growing up. This is how I developed my palate for diverse foods. However, I never really got the freedom to cook as I was just one of the “line cooks” of the kitchen (my mother as the “chef”). It was year 2015 when I moved to US to be with my husband. I became a stay at home mom. This started my culinary explorations. I got the freedom to cook anything I ever imagined and I became the chef of the kitchen. Thanks to my husband and 2 sons who were not scared to try whatever I put on the table.

I have made my family and friends happy with my food. I am now ready to share it to you. I hope I make you happy as well.
